Through all the ups and downs in Darren Chapman's life, the toughest choice he had to make was to stay true to proactive, hands-on change. As a result of this choice, he has founded the TigerMountain Foundation, an organization that uses asset-based community development to bring sustainability back to the community.

In this talk, Chapman will show how TigerMountain is restoring pride in South Phoenix through beautifying vacant lots; providing youth with employment and life skills; and inspiring a strong spirit of volunteerism in the community.
