Xylem Inc., a leading global water technology company has secured a new $800 million revolving credit line linked to their overall sustainability performance as rated by Sustainalytics, a leading independent global provider of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) ratings. Improvements in Xylem’s sustainability performance will reduce interest rates in the future.
Dedicated to solving the world’s most challenging water issues, Xylem is committed to reducing their environmental footprint and helping communities in need become more water-secure. In this talk, Mike will discuss Xylem's three ways we approach sustainability – through our customers, empowering and serving our communities, and building a sustainable company. The presentation will address each of these three pillars of our sustainability framework.
After the talk, there will be an opportunity to talk to Xylem about career opportunities and pursuing a career in sustainability.
Mike Ramos is currently the Director of Engineering for the Dewatering Organization in Xylem. Mike has held engineering, sales and operations roles during his 25 years at Xylem. Mike is a graduate of Drexel University with a BS of Civil Engineering. Mike currently has responsibility for product development of the Godwin and Flygt Drainage Submersible brands in within Xylem.
