Biography

Dr. Golub's work involves public transportation planning, environmental and social justice issues with transportation, environmental impacts of transportation, and planning and policy for nonmotorized transportation modes. He has worked as a researcher and consultant in California on projects related to public transit planning, Bus Rapid Transit systems planning, and environmental justice. He has worked extensively in the developing world as a consultant to the World Bank, the United Nations, and several city governments on various transportation policy and planning projects. He came to transportation planning from mechanical engineering, where his work focused on emissions alternative-fuel engines.

Dr. Golub's teaching interests include urban transportation sustainability, transportation planning and policy analysis, urban planning and policy in the developing world, and courses on research methods.
