Biography
Charles Reeves has over nine years of professional experience, largely working in the international business development and consulting fields. He lived in Benin and Ethiopia for three of those years, with the US Peace Corps and the Millennium Villages Project, respectively. For the past five years he has been the Program Director of the Thunderbird Emerging Markets Laboratory (TEM Lab) at the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
As TEM Lab Program Director Charles manages up to 15 international consulting projects every year, typically in South America, Africa and South East Asia. He has experience in in agribusiness development, social enterprise business planning and financing, impact investing, rural development, and cross-cultural communication.
Most recently, in July of 2014, Charles worked through Winrock International’s Farmer-to-Farmer program in Nepal to consult Nepal’s Agriculture and Forestry University on the design of an MBA in agribusiness degree.
Charles is from Birmingham, Alabama. He studied business administration at the University of Alabama where he was a three-year letterman and All-SEC Scholar Athlete on the swim team. He received his MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
