Biography
Jonathan Kelman was born and raised in North Carolina. He earned a BA in Nuclear Studies from University of North Carolina, Asheville, and his Masters and PhD in Political Science are from the University of California, Irvine in 2013. His dissertation work focused on the global black and grey markets in dual-use nuclear technology. He has also worked for an energy consulting firm (Mathis Consulting) in NC, where he compared the cost of implementing greater efficiency standards in state building codes with the cost of building new generating plants. He currently lives in NW Tempe with his wife Candice and their daughter, Sophia.
