Biography
Katharine (Kit) Batten is a recognized expert in climate-change policy and international development with fifteen years of sustainability leadership in the private sector, government, non-governmental organizations, and academia. She is a Professor of Practice at Arizona State University and a consultant on climate change and risk management. Batten has a PhD in ecology and has held senior leadership positions at Pacific Gas and Electric, US Agency for International Development, US Department of the Interior, University of California, Davis, Center for American Progress, and the Heinz Center for Science, Economics, and the Environment.
