Biography

Kathryn Terzano is an urbanist with teaching and research interests in sustainability, social justice and leadership. In her work, she draws on the theoretical perspectives of advocacy planning and community-based planning. Prior to joining the faculty group of leadership and interdisciplinary studies in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts in 2017, Terzano taught geography and urban planning courses for ASU and Westfield State University (Westfield, Massachusetts). She also was an associate director of research for the Metropolitan Research Center at the University of Utah, and worked for one year as the content manager at the International Federation for Housing and Planning in The Hague, Netherlands.
