Biography

Lauren Weidner is an assistant professor in the School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences. Her research interests focus on improving the field of forensic entomology in Arizona and the Southwestern United States. Specifically, she is interested in the biodiversity and species composition of forensically important blow flies throughout Arizona, larval morphology of forensically important blow flies, blow fly development and initial insect colonization in arid environments with high temperatures.
