Rebecca McCarthy
Biography
Becca McCarthy received her BS in Sustainability (Sustainable Ecosystems), and MA in Public Policy (Environmental Policy). After working for the Alliance for Innovation and the City of Avondale as part of the Marvin Andrews Fellowship, she joined the City of Phoenix as a Management Assistant I in the Aviation Department Planning and Environmental Division. Throughout her education, she volunteered for various clubs and programs, supported research endeavors, and coordinated countless events for the Zero Waste Department, as well as planned a student conference for Walton Sustainability Solutions Initiatives. In her career, she has analyzed water use and infrastructure developments, researched and tracked local government sustainability initiatives, and wrote case studies and articles for local government practices.
