Biography
Ronald Calhoun's research interests are in fluid dynamics and the atmospheric sciences. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, American Meteorological Society, American Geophysical Union. He is a member of the Validation and Verification Committee for Department of Energy's Chem/Bio Salt Lake City Urban Field Experiment. Dr. Calhoun has served as a reviewer for prestigious journals and federal agencies. Calhoun's honors include honorable mention at the 12th Symposium on Boundary Layers and Turbulence in 1997 and Summer Colloquium Fellow, NCAR in 1995.
