Biography

Babak is a PhD candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering, working for Dave Chandler. He received his MS degree in Hydraulic Structures and BS degree in Civil Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran. His research interests include urban hydrology, green infrastructures, and real-time flood forecasting. Babak is currently a research scientist at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, working for Franco Montalto on the Green Infrastructure Living Laboratory (GILL) project. The GILL project is established by Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) as integral to developing an understanding of the performance of Green Stormwater Infrastructure throughout the city of Philadelphia. Babak enjoys running and playing squash.
