Biography

Erin is a PhD candidate in Earth and Environmental Sciences (Geography concentration) at the Graduate Center, City University of New York, where she is currently a research assistant at the CUNY Institute for Sustainable Cities (CISC). She received her MA in Geography from CUNY Hunter College focusing on the impacts of sea-level rise on Antigua's coastal economy and infrastructure. She is a senior fellow with the Urban Resilience to Extremes Sustainability Research Network (UREx SRN), and works with the Consortium for Climate Risk in the Urban Northeast (CCRUN) NOAA RISA team . Her dissertation research region is in the Caribbean where she focuses on development, environmental politics and disaster risk reduction.
