Seeds of Sustainability
This online program for ASU students, faculty and staff provides an easy-to-understand introduction to fundamental sustainability concepts and how ASU is implementing them. It also provides an opportunity to earn your Seeds of Sustainability certificate.
Sustainability Recognition Programs
ASU’s Sustainability Recognition program offers a variety of ways for the university community to contribute to ASU’s sustainability goals. Participants are guided through a variety of sustainability tasks centered around lifestyle, student organizations, and events. You or your team can receive a certification.
The program is on Canvas and participants can self-enroll. Once in Canvas, participants can review the criteria for the credits or take the test to receive their certification automatically.
Sustainable Lifestyle Recognition
The Sustainable Lifestyle Recognition allows you to pledge to implement sustainable practices within your daily life. All members of the ASU community are welcome to participate.
Sustainable Event Recognition
The Sustainable Event Recognition focuses on lessening the negative environmental impact of campus events.
Green Labs Program
The Green Labs Program focuses on waste reduction, proper chemical disposal, as well as energy and resource conservation across campus.
Sustainability Initiatives Revolving Fund
The Arizona State University Sustainability Initiatives Revolving Fund (SIRF) was established in fiscal year 2012 to invest in projects that foster and enable sustainability efforts and provide an economic return on investment.
Ditch the Dumpster
Ditch the Dumpster gives students a way to recycle, reuse, or repurpose their leftovers during the year-end rush to move out of residence halls. The annual event benefits local charities.
