Join us for a robust discussion on the intersection of renewable energy and public policy.

12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Conversation with the four candidates vying for two seats on the Arizona Corporation Commission, which has historically set the State’s renewable energy standard.

1:00 - 2:00 p.m. A deep dive into Ballot Prop 127 with Kent Walter (APS) and Clark Miller (ASU) . “Clean Energy for a Healthy Arizona” would require affected electric utilities to provide at least 50% of their annual retail sales of electricity from renewable energy sources by 2030. The Amendment defines renewable energy sources to include solar, wind, small-scale hydropower, and other sources that are replaced rapidly by a natural, ongoing process (excluding nuclear or fossil fuel).
