The site held evidence of being a major confluence of travelers, residents, and resources for thousands of years. It will also explore the team’s work to push the envelop in material selection, construction techniques, and design to create the most sustainable research lab on campus. The team will show how these influences and remnants were woven together into a design that celebrates our connection to the natural world. Speakers include: Jean Robinson, ASU Historic Preservationist Jorge Garcia, SRP Principal Engineer Dan Garcia, SRP Archeologist Tom Reilly, Architekton Principal Manager The presentation will be followed by a special unveiling of a new brand identity for the Walton Center.
