Darrel Moellendorf
- Professor, International Political Theory and Philosophy, Goethe University-Frankfurt
In this talk, Moellendorf argues that the important objective of preventing dangerous climate change requires an international mitigation effort that does not hinder the efforts to eradicate poverty in the developing and least developed countries.
Moellendorf has worked on themes in global justice, just war theory, political reconciliation, and climate change and justice. His publications include the following books: Cosmopolitan Justice (2002), Global Inequality Matters (2009), and The Moral Challenge of Dangerous Climate Change: Values, Poverty, and Policy (2014).
