A presentation of the history and progress made by the Hansell Laboratory in understanding the global ocean carbon cycle. Presenter will address urgent challenges facing biogeochemists, and touch on his leadership roles and values. Dennis Hansell is a professor of Chemical Oceanography at the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science. Dr. Hansell has a lab at University of Miami in Organic Carbon Biogeochemistry.
