This Making Sense of Complexity talk, hosted by the new School of Complex Adaptive Systems in the College of Global Futures, features Senior Sustainability Scientist Erik Johnston, director of ASU's Center for Policy Informatics, in the School of Public Affairs

Cities become more curious when complex-systems principles to harness contributions of the public to detect, deliberate, and discover inspire the design of underlying governance infrastructures. The first half of this talk defines and describes the capacities developed as cities apply complexity-inspired information interventions to governance challenges. The second half of the talk highlights the benefits of cultivating curiosity.
