Economists have devised a theoretical indicator of sustainable economic development. This measure, called Genuine Savings, accounts for year-to-year changes in all the forms of capital, or wealth, that a given country uses. In this talk, Hanley will discuss the relationship between Genuine Savings and future well-being in the UK, US, and Germany.
A lunch of vegan haggis and shortbread will be served.
