Water and the West
Bruce Huber
- Professor of Law, Robert & Marion Short Scholar, Notre Dame Law School
Professor Bruce Huber taught for several years in the Department of Government at Dartmouth College before joining the Notre Dame law faculty in 2011. Currently, he teaches and conducts research in areas of environmental, natural resources, property, and energy law. His particular areas of expertise include energy regulation, public-land and resource management, and the interaction between law and politics.
Water issues loom large across the American West. From the Columbia to the Colorado, the strain on Western rivers has reached the breaking point, and groundwater reserves are declining. In his talk, Huber will discuss the future of Western waters.
