Biography

Alejandro López-Serrano is a natural resource management professional with five years of experience coordinating and implementing projects funded by USAID, Department of State, the World Bank, the Interamerican Development Bank, and other private corporations like Coca-Cola FEMSA and Heineken. Over the last couple of years, he has worked on water security and its intersection with conservation, resilience, and more recently, conflict and fragility. Alejandro is currently the Environment and Natural Resources Practice Associate at Chemonics where he explores institutional tools and frameworks to drive thought leadership and innovation. He holds a MSc in Environmental Management from the University of New South Wales and a BSc in Biotechnology Engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology in Mexico.
